Job Overview
As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to our valued customers across the Raleigh area. This is a Full-Time position with consistent hours.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily delivery routes in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and paperwork (DVIR).
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues.
- Ensure the vehicle remains clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in local delivery or truck driving.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management and punctuality skills.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
- Basic knowledge of GPS and navigation systems.
