Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated routes in Oakland and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages and freight, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring accurate delivery and resolving any issues on-site.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
