Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated routes across New York State.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper securement and protection of goods.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers and handling delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained during and after shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or route delivery capacity.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
