Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along designated routes in Columbus metro area
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route adjustments or delays
- Uphold company safety protocols and DOT compliance standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license or equivalent commercial driving credentials
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area streets and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
