Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods to designated stops in the Austin area.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon completion of routes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the assigned vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in local route driving or logistics.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging devices (ELD) and scanning equipment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
