Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on scheduled routes across Colorado Springs and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems while adhering to delivery time windows
- Verify delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily inspections, and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes or delivery issues
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in commercial or delivery roles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail and route optimization
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency and smartphone literacy
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Ability to work independently while following company protocols
