Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along designated routes in New Orleans metropolitan area
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt to route changes and traffic conditions efficiently
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans area and surrounding regions
- DOT medical certification required
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screen required
