Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage delivery routes efficiently, ensuring all stops are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Interact professionally with customers, verifying deliveries and resolving issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in logistics or transportation.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends if required.
