Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks to transport products to commercial and residential customers within the Kansas City metro area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks, ensuring all items are securely fastened.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain road safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and customer signatures to ensure billing accuracy.
- Interact professionally with customers to address inquiries and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physical capability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries and communicating with dispatch.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
