Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated Seattle metro locations
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Seattle traffic patterns and street navigation
- Proficiency using GPS technology and delivery management apps
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- DOT medical certification
