Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle on established routes throughout Fort Worth and the surrounding DFW area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of merchandise.
- Interact professionally with customers, taking delivery instructions and ensuring satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Clean driving record with a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in route delivery or logistics preferred but not required for the right candidate.
