Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on designated routes while adhering to traffic laws
- Load/unload merchandise efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer documentation
- Perform vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize route efficiency to meet daily delivery targets
- Comply with all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Chicago area
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- DOT medical certification current or obtainable
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
