Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vans for daily produce routes across Portland metro
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and inventory documentation
- Load/unload temperature-controlled cargo with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Adapt routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems
- Collaborate with warehouse team for optimal loading sequences
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Forklift certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area and traffic patterns
- Food handling/safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent)
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Basic computer skills for route documentation
