Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods along assigned routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to schedules
- Safely load/unload freight using proper equipment
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
- Ability to work independently in outdoor conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
