Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods along designated routes throughout the Denver metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption and maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or delivery issues promptly to management
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts
- Strong knowledge of Denver area roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
