Responsibilities
- Deliver freight to designated stops in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift to ensure safety compliance.
- Accurately load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling.
- Maintain daily logs and records of delivery activities.
- Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point.
- Communicate any delays or issues with the dispatch team immediately.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a logistics or delivery role.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local Columbus, OH roadways and geography.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid DOT medical card.
