Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to DOT regulations and Charlotte traffic laws
- Efficiently manage daily delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload shipments with proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metro area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Basic computer literacy for route tracking systems
