Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations
- Plan and execute efficient daily routes using GPS technology
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte metro area geography
- Proficient with mobile technology (GPS, scanning apps)
- Pass background check and drug screening
