Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods and materials across designated routes in Washington DC and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries promptly
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and traffic regulations in urban environments
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with Washington DC geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
