Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along assigned routes throughout New Orleans
- Load/unload goods with precision and maintain inventory accuracy
- Adapt routes dynamically for traffic/weather conditions while meeting deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential/commercial deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route optimization
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and digital documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in 5+ years)
- 2+ years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Knowledge of New Orleans geography and traffic patterns
