Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate DC metropolitan routes efficiently
- Load/unload merchandise with precision and care at client locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- Knowledge of Washington DC metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
