Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles on pre-planned routes throughout Portland metro area
- Load/unload inventory with proper handling techniques for perishable goods
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adapt routes efficiently for traffic and delivery constraints
- Comply with DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Portland area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Pass background check and drug screening
