Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Efficiently load, secure, and unload products using proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to minimize delivery times while ensuring product integrity
- Represent Boston Fresh Delivery with professionalism and excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B) or clean Class C license
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills for multi-stop deliveries
- Basic navigation proficiency with GPS systems and route planning tools
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Previous food/beverage or cold chain transportation experience preferred
