Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to commercial and residential locations throughout Charlotte metropolitan area
- Plan and optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Commercial Driver's License (Class B or higher)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience with clean MVR
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with GPS navigation and route planning software
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
