Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods along designated routes in El Paso and surrounding areas
- Plan and optimize daily delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals and maximum efficiency
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience with route delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
