Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to commercial and residential locations
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle customer payments when required
- Inspect vehicles before and after shifts to ensure safety and operational standards
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and secure materials for transit
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
- Represent the company professionally through courteous interactions with clients
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in commercial transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management skills with ability to adhere to strict schedules
- Basic math proficiency for inventory counts and payment processing
- Proficiency with mobile delivery tracking applications
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and occasional overtime
