Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along designated routes in Oakland and surrounding areas
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt routes dynamically for traffic/weather conditions to ensure timely delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland area roadways
- Basic math skills for inventory verification
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
