Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver perishable goods on designated routes across Greater Boston
- Load/unload products using proper handling techniques to maintain quality standards
- Maintain accurate delivery records and inventory documentation
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adapt routes efficiently based on real-time traffic conditions
- Uphold food safety protocols throughout the delivery process
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Familiarity with Boston metropolitan area roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of food handling and temperature control
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
