Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to commercial and residential locations
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes using GPS and route planning software
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metro area and surrounding counties
- Proficient with route planning apps and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
