Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload merchandise using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while minimizing fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Represent Atlanta Fresh Logistics with professionalism and exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metropolitan area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for route navigation and documentation
