Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care, maintaining inventory accuracy
- Optimize daily routes for maximum efficiency using GPS technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route interactions
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with dispatch to resolve delivery issues and delays proactively
- Uphold company safety standards and represent Austin Logistics Solutions professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity of Austin geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- CDL certification preferred but not required
