Responsibilities
- Operate the provided rideshare vehicle safely and efficiently to transport passengers to their destinations.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming vehicle interior at all times, adhering to company hygiene standards.
- Utilize the company’s driver app to accept rides, navigate routes, and manage payments.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with luggage and answering route questions.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, local regulations, and safety protocols during every shift.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately to the fleet management team.
- Keep accurate records of mileage and earnings for tax and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class D) with a clean driving record (no major infractions within the last 3 years).
- Proof of vehicle insurance and registration (if providing your own vehicle, though we provide equipment).
- Comfortable using smartphone applications for navigation and ride requests.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on passenger safety and comfort.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Residency in the New York Metropolitan Area is preferred.
- Background check clearance is required.
