In this role, you will be the vital link between our drivers and our customers. You will coordinate routes, manage schedules, and ensure that our fleet operates efficiently from a remote location. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch truck drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain clear and constant communication with drivers and clients via phone and email.
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes to minimize delays and fuel consumption.
- Update driver logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records accurately.
- Resolve customer inquiries and handle shipping complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to schedule loading and unloading times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatching is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and dispatch software (e.g., McLeod, DAT) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high productivity.
- Valid driver’s license (not required for remote role but preferred).
