Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes between Boston, MA and Northeast corridor
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain detailed electronic logs and communicate proactively via mobile app
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor preventative maintenance
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile apps
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Northeast geography
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and climb trailer safely
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Remote-friendly: reliable smartphone and basic tech literacy
