Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks and tractor-trailers within the Oklahoma City metro area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare accurate delivery documentation and maintain logbooks (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional image at all times.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a zero-accident record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate commercial vehicles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and reporting.
