Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Deliveries: Navigate local routes to deliver packages, documents, and goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional customer service, ensuring packages are delivered safely and accurately.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- App Updates: Utilize mobile technology to update delivery status, track routes, and communicate with dispatch in real-time.
- Documentation: Handle all necessary paperwork, including proof of delivery and receipts, with high attention to detail.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Vehicle Access: Must have access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery (or be willing to use a company vehicle).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for navigation and job management apps.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
