Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles to designated destinations.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or by hand, ensuring weight distribution is secure.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DA-660) and delivery paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients at delivery sites.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or eligibility to obtain one through our training.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Basic math skills for reading delivery tickets and calculating change.
- Must have a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
