Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment to transport materials across construction sites and industrial zones
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while optimizing fuel consumption
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to ensure timely material deliveries and project deadlines
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment
- Document delivery reports and maintain electronic records through our mobile app
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with airbrake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong understanding of local Buffalo-area roadways and construction zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
