Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes adhering to strict schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Supervise student boarding, exiting, and behavior during transit
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols for child transportation
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports accurately
- Participate in mandatory safety training and drills
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement
- Minimum 1 year driving experience or willingness to obtain CDL
- Pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
