Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and waste across Baton Rouge and surrounding areas
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation using our remote-friendly systems
- Coordinate with dispatch teams via mobile communication apps for optimal route planning
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental protection standards
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Build positive relationships with clients and construction site personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Strong communication skills for remote coordination
- Physical ability to climb equipment and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- High school diploma or equivalent required
