Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of goods throughout the Indianapolis metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Utilize remote portal for route optimization, load tracking, and electronic documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure DOT compliance
- Build client relationships through professional on-site interactions and remote communication
- Maximize efficiency through strategic route planning and real-time traffic monitoring
- Maintain accurate delivery records and submit digital paperwork via mobile app
- Collaborate with dispatch team remotely to troubleshoot delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Reliable late-model box truck (24-26 ft) with current registration and insurance
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and digital document management
- Strong time management skills for balancing on-road and remote responsibilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
