Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Manage customer deliveries with professional conduct
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient transfers
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Own or lease box truck (26-28ft) with valid insurance
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville metro area
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Reliable smartphone with GPS navigation
