Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to and from specified locations
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to provide updates and resolve issues
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift and move freight up to 50 pounds
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
