Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT compliance standards
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Manage freight documentation and electronic logging
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of diverse cargo
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
- Local Indianapolis area residency preferred
