Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28ft) for freight transport throughout Indiana and surrounding states
- Manage loading/unloading operations while ensuring cargo security and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and vehicle maintenance records
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during on-site interactions
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience with verifiable references
- Reliable 26-28ft box truck with current registration and insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and Indiana roadways
- Basic smartphone proficiency for electronic logging and communication
- Entrepreneurial mindset with time management skills
