Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries in St. Petersburg metro area
- Manage route planning and delivery schedules with remote dispatch coordination
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer communication
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and fuel savings
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for loading/unloading operations
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Reliable personal box truck (26ft max) in good condition
- Strong navigation skills with GPS proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
