Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses in the Fresno area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and contact customers upon arrival to ensure a successful handoff.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any delivery issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Accurately complete digital logs and delivery reports using a handheld device.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current, valid auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and navigation.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities for communication.
