Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses in Oakland and surrounding areas in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect vehicles prior to and after trips, ensuring cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Interact professionally with customers, including handling signatures and confirming delivery details.
- Utilize handheld devices to track delivery status and communicate updates in real-time.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with the Oakland area is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable smartphone with data connectivity.
