Responsibilities
- Safely navigate and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Dallas metro area with accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify recipient identities and handle package handling with the utmost care to prevent damage.
- Utilize handheld mobile devices for order tracking, proof of delivery (POD), and real-time navigation updates.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Proficiency with smartphones and mobile apps for logging deliveries.
- Reliable personal transportation or willingness to use company-provided vehicle.
