As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods across the region. We are looking for Class A drivers who take pride in their work and safety record.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Navigate routes using GPS and map systems to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
